Shawn was born & raised in Southern California. He grew up in Los Angeles and Ventura counties and then attended college in San Diego. While working towards a Business Management degree he spent time as a business consultant to various local San Diego businesses. After completing his degree he moved back up to the Los Angeles area to pursue a career in the entertainment industry as a talent agent. A chance opportunity to join a fast-growing real estate startup led him into the Real Estate industry.

After a successful IPO, he continued to help design & improve various processes of the company at the corporate level. At the end of his tenure, the company had acquired 55,000 homes throughout their portfolios.

Ready for another challenge, another opportunity presented itself to Shawn. He took his experience and skillset into real estate residential sales at Berkshire Hathaway where he became a member of Jamie Pearson's team, jamiePnation. Jamie is a top 2% producer and industry veteran of 37 years. "The Nation's" objective is to turn, what's thought to be, a formidable and stressful experience into an enjoyable and memorable one.
